Question Shall I ...??

It's time to change the transmission oil of my Chee. I went to a car service center, a worker there said:

"We have "Shell" type of oil. We have the ATF III for the transmission and oil 90 for the 4X4"

So, shall I o it?

NO! not from that place at least. They dont know what theyre talking about. The AW4 DOES NOT use ATF, It uses Dexron. The trans called for Dexron II, Thats why DII is stamped into the drain plug... Dexron II is no longer around so use Dexron III..

Also, WTF is "Oil 90"? Did they mean 90Wt Gear oil? AFAIK, the manual calls for 75w90 gear oil for general use and 75w140 for towing
Lubricant is a thermally stable SAE 80W-90 gear lubricant
Vehicles intended for heavy-duty or trailer tow use SAE 75W-140 SYNTHETIC
