Unhappy Rough Country / Fedex

I dont know whether rough country failed to ship the package or fedex lost the package but i only recieved 2 of the 3 packages for my 4.5" lift kit. Just wanted to let the forum know how RC handles this problem. i will keep you posted on the outcome, i hope all is well, so far RC has had great customer service.

i ordered through "truckaddons.com" (who have been great) but they say it has shipped directly from the RC manufacturer.

Just called RC today about a lift kit. And I mentioned this to the guy about late packages, and he said only if something is back ordered. So ask for availability when we order.

and i called fedex 3 times and they said they have no information on the package but it looks like they recieved it with the weight of less then 0.1kg... i'd like some more info on this IF SOMEONE WOULD FILL ME IN (from the businesses of course, not you guys)

When it shows fedex recievied it with a weight that low it means the driver picked it up and it has been scanned by his gun, When it gets to the shipping facility they will actually weigh it and scan it in and all of the tracking info will be updated with correct weight and delivery time.

I sell on EBAY ALOTTT so I use fedex all the time and this is always the case. Check the site later tonight and it will all be updated. at the very latest in the morning.

Hope that helps,
Matt

not too happy with the outcome so far here...

recieved an email by truckaddons.com couple days ago saying

"rough country is shipping you another package right away, sorry"

ive already waited for this package for so long its more than 3 weeks late now. the process is taking soo long even for anybody to respond to me, i was hoping they would have the decency to rush ship this package to me but its been 3 days already so looks like normal shipping to me =(

well 1st of all its not RCs fault its the place you got it from, i only deal with the main compnies.. like the product your buying, summit, and jcwhitney... and sometimes some of the other off-road places!! but that is what they did to you..

I did have a issue with R/C direct. I waited 3 weeks for my long arm stuff. I called them once a week and they kept saying they were waiting for a bracket. oh well it's over and I got my stuff.

I have ordered a few things from RC and never had a problem with them. Fed x on the other hand came in the snow and the closest foot prints were 10 feet from my porch and they just threw my lift kit onto the porch and woke me up. I work 3rd shift ,so I wasnt happy about only getting 2 hours of sleep.

in my experiance with RC, they will make things right promptly if they are responsible. if you ordered your kit from an outside vender it's up to them. I bought my RC kit from "lift kits for less" they were awesome to deal with. hope everything works out for you here!!!
