Default Rotating new tires...

Hey guys,

So I just got new skins including spare about 1k miles ago. 31" Duratracs.

I was thinking about rotating (spare included) every 1k for the first 5k miles, so all tires have a chance to see pavement / opposite directions before I go to every oil change.

Is this dumb? Should I just wait?

I've never spent this much on tires before LOL

Just rotate every 3k miles, as normal. swap out your spare for one of the tires on the car, make sure the pattern is such that all tires spend time as a spare. unless you have alignment issues, your tires won't see much wear in that many miles for it to be an issue at all.
