Jim called me over the weekend. He's in good spirits but has a ways to go. He's getting dialysis every other day. He can get around with a walker.

Yeah that douche bag is doing better (Thank GOD!).

He still has a way to go, but hopefully now that he has his phone, he can come on here and give us MORE grief in his own way!
Honestly I have been worried about him to say the least, and I am thankful that he will be around to screw with us for some time to come.

Great news!
Jim called me today, and he sounds really good. Sooooooo much better than a week ago.
He was telling me that they will be seeing this week if his kidneys are working yet?
If they do start to work on their own they can stop dialysis, and kick his ugly ar$$e outta that joint, then send him to his new home. (should be a padded cell)

Still some work to do but it looks like he will be back to his usual self soon enough.
I told him to come on here, and give us some grief!
Hopefully soon, hopefully soon.

Thank you all for your prayers, and good wishes.

How about an update from the horse's mouth? Haha...
First off, let me say thank you for the prayers. I feel truly blessed.

It's been over a month in the hospital. I'm due to be released this Saturday. I'm still on dialysis...and probably will be for a short time after release, bit fortunately it should be short term..

Here's some pics of our new digs, which i have yet to see,lol

Are you moving TO Colorado from Apple Valley (not far from where I am at the moment) or t'other way?

If you are going TO Colorado, what part?

We're moving to South Dakota. Colorado just happened to be the hospital where I ended up. I originally checked into the ER in New Mexico. We had stopped at a truck stop for the night, and the next day I felt feverish with chills. We decided to check my vitals, and my 02 saturation levels were extremely low, 76%. We made the call to go to the ER I was admitted almost immediately, with a bad infection, which decided to go septic, and shut down my kidneys. I was placed in a medically induced coma for several weeks, and woke up with tubes down my neck in Colorado Springs. Once stable in ICU, I was sent to a regular room. I'm now in a rehabilitation unit learning how to walk again. It's been a bumpy road, but each day is getting better

Well, I'm glad you woke up, even if it had to be in Colorado Springs!

Too bad the Red Top Inn shut down, or I could have told you where to find a good burger.....

Yikes, nobody needs that kind of adventure when moving! Great that you're getting better and looks like you'll be living the dream out there in SD. Always good to see another successful escape from behind the Iron Curtain!

It was probably something Dr.Fauci, Gavin Newsom and Bill Gates concocted and put in the drinking water in California. After a few days of not drinking California water it releases a
novel bacteria trying to insure no more people leave California. It is named California Revenge

What almost killed me, post pus and blistering

Mind you, the original wound was about the size of a dime. The only symptoms I had was slight redness and swelling, then it basically exploded
