I have a build thread, but very little of it covers the cage. I built the cage in a week after hours, so I was pretty busy to take a lot of pictures.

i used home depot conduit attached with liquid nails. works great.

1.75" .120 wall DOM for main, 1.5" for bracing
Some people will argue ERW to save money, but for the time and effort put into a cage spend an extra couple bucks a foot and build one that will stand up significantly better on impact.

Run through the floors and weld to the frame. Never understood why anyone took the time to build a cage then weld it to the thin *** sheet metal on the floors like a lot of people do.
