I will have to get pictures up. The floor went with the rockers so I am trying to figure out how to do it... I think the top is still salvageable it is just the inside and face that needs to be corrected

I'd say if you have a welder, buy some 18gauge sheet metal and cut out the old stuff and patch it with the new, then bedline everything to prevent rust.

we have a mig now but looking into a 230 arc. I was either thinking that, tube or fiberglass? I know it is able to break but I doubt I will be crawling to that extent

hahahah yup we got the steel. Thats why I keep posting threads for ideas because Im a newb at this. I have been working on wire wheeling it down but I dont have an open garage and this ny weather isnt helping. One step at a time

Thats the way to go, just make sure you do it right the first time. And complain to someone in the government about all the salt they put down

I think its either something with the year or what. because Other 95 sports have had this same problem. I do know that it is from those stupid chain hookups on the underbody. the moisture gets in and rusts inside-out. those fragments were all that were under the carpet. I didnt cut much else

its not THAT bad. There is still a solid underbody frame and rear end frame. We plan to weld the sheets to it when all cleaned off, then do the rockers and tie into the floor, then herculine and finish the interior. If you look on tarantulacustoms.com there is a model xj that I want to fab the fender flares and bumpers after
