Road Trip
I know most owners aren't really into roads but I visited my parents for Christmas and seeing as they've moved to the middle of France, I live in the north of England and there was snow which had stopped the trains.... the XJ did 1500 miles in two trips
It didn't miss a beat, loved going in 4FT for the slippy bits and stayed at the right temps even during 4 hours of traffic jams on the "Route Peripherique" round Paris.
Awesome.
I think it needs a new coolant cap because it was making a few wisps of steam in the heaviest traffic (it took nearly two hours to cover 500 yards at one point) but it was fantastic to drive and even the Parisian drivers don't mess around with an XJ!
