Which Rim Size do I need?
Ok, I looked around at a few posts but am still confused.
I have a 1999 Stock XJ with Wrangler SRA P225/75R15102S tires. No lift on the Jeep.
I want to replace the stock rims with Cragar v5 or soft 8. For the above tires and size, what sizes do I need to order? Also, the websites sell the rims separate so what else do I need to order to complete the look "I.e. The bolt covers". I want to order all of it at once. Please point me in the right directions for my needs.
Thanks

15" rims are what you have and tires for 15" rims is what you need. "225/75/15" that's the number for the rim size. 75 is 75% ratio of sidewall to tire width. 225 is the metric measurement for tread width.

Thanks guys - do I have to worry about this backspacing number or is that not a factor?
Also they have 15 x 7, 15 x 8, etc ?

Backspacing is how far out from center your wheel is. Stock is ~5" backspacing. Alot of the new wheels you'll find are 3.75 or 4" backspacing which will stick out farther from your center. I believe the measurement is actually based off how far off from center of the rim the attachment points are, but in execution, you'll notice it as the wheels sticking out farther.
IE bigger number backspacing = closer to center. Smaller number spacing = Sticking farther out.
IE bigger number backspacing = closer to center. Smaller number spacing = Sticking farther out.

That's the rim width. 7" wide, 8" wide etc. What size tires are you going to run? You want your rim to be several inches thinner than the tires you are running. IE Don't run 10" wire tires on a 10" rim. I think 15x7 is the stock. You're good on the 7" rim unless you're going over 30" or so. Someone that knows more than me will have to go with what's recommended as far as the tire width to rim width goes.
