Does anyone know of riding spots near Shreveport, LA

 

ha ha, i couldn't tell you where it is exactly, but my brother buried his old 70's F150 (F100?) out by haughton in a pond. Had to have a tractor pull him out the next day. It totally destroyed that truck.

 

wow and i have some places i ride but i want more it gets boring goin through the same holes

i graduated HS from haughton HS in '99, and I moved out about a year later. I haven't been back since. If I remember correctly, it's the kind of place that you can just turn off the highway and go where the dirt road takes you, as long as it's not a swamp like my brother did, or some moonshiner's place. He had a truck load of people and he thought this pond was another dirt road and plowed into it, all the way up to the doors (it was at night). he had to climb out the back window or something like that. I wish I was into off roading then, I had a suzuki samurai that I got stuck a few times. I wish I could remember the place, but it's been more than 10 years. Some guy in a truck with HUGE tires pulled me out once. All i remember is that all the houses looked like they were broken in half and there were chickens everywhere.

 

Hahaha, what highway is it off 80? The only place we really go is Bodcau and there's some mud holes around town but not really any trails

 

that sounds about right, it did seem like just a field with some mud holes in it. and bodcau sounds familiar.

 

my friend that got me into jeeps from shreve is visiting this weekend and i will ask him about some places...we messed around some mud field about ten years ago then coming back the car in front of us hit a deer...haha cheers
