Hey guys I have a 1990 xj renix and I believe my ecu took a short to it I was chasing a crank no spark issue tried cruisers54 tips and nothing well i opened up my ecu and I smell eclectical Fire and can see a small line of burnt material I took it to work ( I'm a auto mechanic) and had some guys look at it and they also believe is. Bad

So my question is where can I fine one because my junkyard is closed till new year and I believe they don't have a 90 xj ecu and may not really trust those

Any advice

 

Where are you located? There is a place in AZ that breaks cherokees and have a ton of used parts. I'm sure they have a renix ecu sitting around.

And it was a working ecu correct really tight on money just need to make sure it works

 

Ohh and is the ecu for a 4.0 4x4 automatic transmission xj
