Do you know what setup we would need for 97+ power doors

You need one pin for every wire unless you have mulitple grounds that you could add together. I only have speakers so i'll only need a two pronged one. I'll be doing doing my doorless mod as soon as income taxes com in to order my list if parts for the jeep

Feb - april will be good for jeeps everywhere. Lol. I have a huge list of stuff to get for jeep. Install front axle(d60), gears lockers front and rear, driveshafts, install 231j transfer case with sye kit and who knows what else ill come up with when that's done

So if i have speaker, door locks, power windows, and power mirrors, and the dome light turns on when i open the doors, i need 5 prong and 1 ground if i can combine them. Looks like they dont even make one for that unless i can use two. That might work

You can use multiple. The dome lights run off a push switch that kills the circuit when the door is shut. Thats a different situation someone whose actually done the mod would know better what to do

The idea came from the sliding door minivans i belive. You could go to a junk yard and find them. Prolly cheaper too. And they come with more deals than painless in one piece

yep i have seen them just recently on minivans looked like 10 or 12 prong

Never hurts to have extra plugs if theyre cheep lol

the only thing i wouldnt like about those jam plugs is that if you arent doorless, everytime you open your door you loose power to speakers, windows, locks. door would have to be closed anytime you wanted to do something. cant lock all your power locks with the door open.

That good point I hadnt thought about. I'm I. And out of mine all the time unlocking and locking doors and hatch. I might look into the grand cherokee also. What years plug set up is needed

The doors in mine are fully powered. I just put quick disconnects on all of my wires.. Cheapest way to go I would guess but more time consuming putting doors back on..I will upload some pictures soon. As far as the dome light, I just took that off completely. It was aggravating to me any way especially since I'm usually the only one in my jeep.

3/8" quick pins are the way to go!

This is how I did my front doors for 'Doorless Made Easy!'. My rear ones were only 7 wires each and are quite simple to figure out really, there's a few options.

The Grand Cherokee (ZJ) harness should work from 93-98 (mine were from a 94), and the driver's door one I got had space for I think 24 wires (my XJ used 21). Only thing to look out for is that the ZJ harness is known to have wires break at the connector in the jamb from opening/closing all the time.. just take a look at them all before you install it.

Haha I haven't been around lately, so good timing. I used 2 driver's side connectors, but that was mainly because the passnger side was hit and pushed in and I didn't wanna fight with the, but it had an extra drivers door sitting against it lol. I do recommend heat shrink tubing instead of electrical tape (bought my roll off eBay).
