drill out top of hinge

knock out pin

pin almost out

remove all washers in hinges and use 3/8 drill bit if needed to drill out holes a bit , quick pull pin in

i did this with door on. def need a long drill extension with a 1/4 chuck style bit. i used a small self taping screw to start hole then used 3/8 metal bit to finish the hop of pin then knocked it out using a chuck extender for drill.. the bottom looks a little more difficult.. i might end up taking door off to drill out hinge but will let you know. and the door wiring came out very easily .

Yea it was a pain.. You basically did the same I did..what did you do about the wiring again? Did you say you drilled the hinges out to 3/8 before you used pins or they just fall in line?

Door part of hinge was 3/8 already and body side needed to be drilled out a bit.. I just disconnected it and pulled them through.. wasn't too bad .. what did u do for bottom hinge?

I just bit the bullet and got pissed off about 20 times and finally started to see some head way.. I used an aggressive deburring tool..bout the only thing I could find in the shop that I could get in with some ease without cutting the actual hinge itself, or taking the hinge off. It's a little b$$ch for sure.

Same here.. Not bad taking off, but it's nice to have a second pair of hands when your putting them back on.. It can be done by yourself but not at all fun..make sure you crack your window down a little so you can use that as another place to hold the door and takes any kind of stress off of your window that may break it.

OK. i just finished taking door off completely to drill out bottom hinge. drill out knocked pin out, drilled inner hinge to 3/8, put hinge back on door exactly where it was before , put top pin in and learned to put bottom pin in through bottom w/ help from small hammer to tap it in after 5 min of trying to go from the top of bottom hinge.. but not to heavy or a pain but im lifting ladders and my tool bag around all day. but yeah. its a bit of a pain to remove ALL door i believe but front two id do it if i was trail riding

I went out last night and took your idea on the quick pins! They really are a lot easier to mess with than the setup I had before.. I can easily remove/install the doors on my own..the doors line up better, now just got to get this mess of wires in a better working order.lol
