So in registering for this site they asked me for my vehicle type .. thing is there WAS NO JEEP under the menu ... Huh? ... so I picked Ford or something else ... How the hell did you miss this?

 

Your model is a KL Cherokee. I'm moving your other post to the appropriate sub-forum.
Might wanna change your info to reflect the fact you own a KL. .
You're not registered as a Ford BTW, but as the XJ Cherokee from 1984 through 2001.

 

I think he means the sign up portion for IB"s end, not the site end. He's saying that the drop down menu on that portion didn't have an option for Jeep as a vehicle make. This might explain why everyone is defaulted to XJ when signing up. Maybe we should mention it to Robb...

Anyway, OP, just go to the upper left where it says User CP, and scroll down the options menu on the left to change to your actual make as Cruiser suggested, and then direct all future posts to the KL section. Thanks.

hrmmm, thanks guys. we added a new registration process here last week that is supposed to re-create the questions that used to be asked here upon registration including type of Jeep etc. It's possible our tech team messed something up though, that would be par for the course lately :/ I'll investigate.
