Default rear sway bar removal

tonight i just removed my rear sway bar for more flex off road. My xj is my dd and when i took it for a spin around the block with it food it felt like my rear was sliding around is that normal when you take it off and somthing to just get used to? or is it something that would give me the idea to put the sway bar back on

You have no rear track bar, its the sway bar. And yes, if you remove it you will get more body roll. It's usually so minimal though that most people toss em in the trash. The front sway bar is much more important when it comes to controlling body roll, though a few hard asses will argue with me on that.
