Default Rear speaker bar

I installed an extra speaker bar that holds like 5" speakers directly behind the front seats. The bar fits fine because it's made to brace on the sides. It sounds pretty nice. Just have some speakers we had laying around in there right now. Wondered if anyone has other suggestions for good speaker mods. Thanks

in the back i put in some 6x9s...if your back hatch is fiberglass then its rather easy. cut the stock mounts, cut a oval piece of wood, mount it too the fiberglass with some screws and calk...then mount the speaker and cut holes in the cover thing and put on some speaker covers.

Yeah do it. It really creates a more balanced amount of front and rear audio.

I got mine from the junk yard, only cost me like 4 bucks, Haven't installed it though. How did you guys wire the sound bars up. Mine is a 90 xj that only came with the speakers in the tailgate which I plan on keeping there.

i got mine from a JY also, i had to get a separate amp. a 2 channel will work if you want to run just your sound bar off the amp and have the headunit power the other speakers, but if you want it to sound even better, i would recommend getting a 4 channel amplifier. for the sound bar and the rear hatch and have the front speakers run off the head unit.

I used to be a huge tecca nina fan back a few months ago but i sort of grew out of it and found other rappers haha... KOD is a great album, but I think Sickology 101 is the best. I listen to him from time to time but now I'm more into Eminem's older stuff, Dr. Dre, D12, Obie Trice, etc. I'm starting to rediscover Detroit's hiphop. I'm listening to music that's almost 10 years old, yet it sounds better than all of the played on the radio today! LOL

I have two 1" tweeters in dash, two 5 1/4's in front doors, two 6x9's in rear hatch, a 10" sub in rear passenger side pocket. All Rockford Fosgates speakers. A 1400 watt Pyle amp (5 channel) under the rear seat. Gives me 250 watts to each of the four corners, and 400 watts to the sub. Sounds great, Looks like factory install, No sound bar, or speakers boxes exposed. And most importantly, nothing to steal easily.
