rear end noise????
when i take off and turn left or right, their is a slight popping rubbing sound, the rubbing sounds like metal rubbing,i have took the rear wheel off brakes are good, also took off the rear diff cover no issues, starting to me off. when the wheel is turned all the way i can be at a stop and tap the gas,it sounds like a u joint but it not, they are in great shape. What can i do??

It would be tough to say just by that description. Do you have any lift? what year is it? And a few things you could check is the sway bar make sure it's tight and you can check the shock bushings.

Also check your drive line my makes a terrible grinding noise cause my slip yokes pulled out so far could be your problem too cause I thought it was the ujoints and the brakes

I have a 1991 5 speed that does it also, loud popping sound when I take off and turn up a hill, like when it is under a load. I have had allot of work done. I am following your thread and am very interested in what you find out. I did find that my u-bolts to both leaf springs were lose, I tightened them up but still I have that popping sound. wonder if it could be the rims on the lug nuts coming lose....mmmm I will have to check them. good luck, I hope someone answers you with a solution.
