rattles from bass

i searched and didnt find much,but i have 2 12" subs in a ported box and it rattles my jeep and makes my system sound like s***,is there anyway to fix it besides screwin every sinlge thing down? or what? its just really annoying

Theres this stuff u can put in between the panels I forget what its calld but it works rlly good to help with rattle

secondskin makes it, so do others.

and one thing most ppl dont find is that the seat belt ratchets in the B pillar rattle like mad! i fixed mine. and other than that even with all my tools it does not rattle

My seat belts rattle without bass lol, but try that stuff first prob won't get rid of all the rattle but will help

You could use dynamat it is sound deading material and place it under the panels in the truck. Also like everyone else said make sure everything is screwed down. I have the same problem with my subs to.

One thing that helped my insanity while driving my XJ is always keep the rear seat folded down unless someone is sitting in it. Mine rattles and squeaks at the slightest bump if its up with no weight on it.
Also, wrap the metal post that the liftgate latch latches to in duct tape to stop that rattle.

my sub box is pressed against the rear seat so it doesnt move even while wheeling

then dynamat is your best bet for your rattling problem here is a link to thier site http://www.dynamat.com/ . The Xj's already have sound absorbing material inside but what is the specs of your box? how many watts are you pushing?

my sub box is pressed against my back seat as well so it dont shake
but i dont have the money for dynomax at the moment,i was kinda wanting a quick fix,but would bigger rubber blocks in were the hatch meets the body keep it from rattling?

they are 2 12's (treo engineering) but i only have 750watt amp to the max right now,im tryin to get a 1200 watt amp,but i need to stop my rattling 1st

just a warning dynamat is heavy! in a old civic hatch i had and yes a small hatch back lol i pulled 350 lbs of it out. single layer in doors and rear of car.
you think the xj gets bad mileage now add 400lbs to it lol

I didnt have any rattles or anything when I had 800 watts running in my.. but I got rid of my system because It took up too much room in the back.
