Yeah im Running 2 12"s pioneer Champhionship series at 760 right now so i know exactly what your going through. Is your box actually bolted down or just resting on the back of the seat? You could also try turning them aroound or laying them face up but that might distort he sound a little as it would hit the sound bar but it might be worth a try.

One word dude....DYNAMAT. Any stereo install shop will have it. I have 2 Alpine 10" Type R's that push 1000 watts in a custom box in my cargo area that pound the lift gate. Put the Dynamat between the license plate and the lift gate and tighten the screws real tight like. As far as the interior...if you can isolate the rattles, remove the offending interior panel and put the Dynamat between the panel and the metal. I actually have to re-tighten stuff from time to time just because of the vibrations. HTH.

I have two 12's also and the biggest part that rattled was where the back window met the plastic (sorry i dont know the term) but in that gap i literally just put a sock in it. It cut down alot of the rattling.

your subs got louder when you turned them twords the seat because now they are hitting the back of the seat which is hard so its resonating off the seat!!

There's a spray form of dyno mat out on the market. I myself use 1 10' sub, with 400 watts going to it. and 250 watts going to each of the other four speakers. All speakers are Rockford Fosgates. I don't care for the ghetto thumpers, you can hear a block away. I prefer the full range of music, over just the bass.

Dynamat....it's expensive....my discount when I worked for best buy I could get a 89.99 roll for 15.99....that's there margin....comparable product you can find on the web called "hushmat" same tech, much cheaper...over used both...and you don't have to cover every inch of your jeep I covered under the headliner of my z71 with four 12x12 squares and killed the flexing in my roof from my 15s.....
