So exactly why are you getting a detector if there's little to no chance of you getting a ticket? I call bs on that. You have got to be the only person in the universe that gets a radar detector to be "more aware". Geez.

And to all the Cobra lovers - check out Valentine detectors. Not for the OP as they're very expensive, but worth every dime x10. I can't afford one yet ... but I will some day.
