Default Quick Amplifier Install Question

I've run the main Power(+) cable down the passenger side, but was wondering if I should run the remote wire with it?
Will the remote wire cause EM interference if I run it down the driver side with my RCA line, or is the remote wire just a quick on/off wire that does not carry constant voltage?
Thanks!

The remote wire carries a +12V signal as long as the radio is powered up.

I ran all 3 wires together when I had my subs. With an RCA cable there is little interference due to the shielding.

Run power and remote on together. RCAs on the opposite side.

I guess I'm pretty lucky, I've installed a lot of stereo equipment in my lifetime, some of the installs were halfassed at best, and I have never had any weird buzzes or whines.

I've probably installed 20 amps in my day and always ran all three together. Never had an interference problem, also I pretty much always use the wal mart kits. Glad it worked out for ya.

I've done it both ways before. More often than not your noise issues will be ground related. I prefer to split them for my own sanity - I'd hate to rerun cables because I did something that I knew better of.

You usually get line noise from having the ground incorrectly connected. Or if it's too long. Ground wires should never be longer than a couple ft.
