well guys, thanks for the offers to come over, help me out and maybe save a few lives, but I already got the studs swapped.
I used autozone's dorman stud, 610-234 I think. if I had it to do over I'd probably go buy some ARPs. I managed to strip threads off of one stud trying to seat it on the hub. the threads just up and came off the center of the stud, putting me in a bind. I ended up having to cut the stud off because it couldn't be moved either way.
it seemed like the new studs have a bigger shoulder diameter where the knurls bite in the hub. the length of knurls seemed larger, too (as in they went all the way through the hub). i hit the old studs twice with a hammer and they all popped right out. when i removed the fubared new stud and had to drive it out the back it took some work, and it wasn't even seated all the way.
