Default Pro's and con's Of a 92 xj

So I found someone willing to trade their xj for my zx6r.

It has a 3 inch lift and comes with 31" and a set of 33" tires. I don't know much about it, but I will find out today and I'll post pics.

I am curious to know any pro's or con's on the 1992 year. Please enlighten me. Thanks!

Nothing that I know of that's specific to that year.
I personally own a 92, and the only bad thing about it, is the wiring seems to be like a 1993's.
Transfer case sensors, and Stereo head unit's wiring both are 1993.

Other than that, no airbag!

I just bought a '92 Laredo and am working the bugs out. Previous owner had taken the upper steering apart and broke or lost a lot of parts that are proving to be a real bear to find. Hitting JY this afternoon to see what I can find. Next issues will be a valve cover leaking like a sieve and a shimmy betwen 50 and 55 mph. After I get everything straightened out the build begins. First a 3" lift and new injectors. Will be posting pics as I go.

Awesome to hear!!

I also understand there might be the typical work that needs done, or small leaks. I just didn't know if that year had particular problems!

Another question is if he lifted it with 3 inch spacers and shackles is it still capable of good off roading and flexing?

it should be fine with light-moderate offroading

Ok I'm just making sure, cause I don't wanna regret making this trade. It's gonna have to be real clean for me to take it. Because I have my mind set on a 6.5 rc long arm lift. 8) but if this one goes through then I can hold off till next summer for the new lift.

But really I need to stop thinking until I hear back from the guy and find out facts!

I own a '91 Limited, w/69,000 miles on it. No real problems, Other than the head liner sagging. (common problem, & easy fix) Their yellowing headlights.(common problem, & easy fix) I put in HID headlights, & wire harness upgrade. Big difference. Their crappy sound system, (common problem, & easy fix) Upgraded sound system, Now it's sounds like a concert hall.
