I would go with 50 watt speakers.Thats what I've had in mine for years now and no problems.

I bought them from Wal Mart.JVC for like $30 per pair and they sound really good. You'll need 5.25in speakers.

If you want some bass the look at the DUAL subs there also.I have a 12in that I mounted in the rear ps cargo area with a 500 watt Memphis amp and it sounds awesome.I think the sub was only $30 also.

speakers wont blow your fuses.. your head unit only puts out so much anyway, the watts on the speaker is how much it will handle before it distorts or blows. you could put 900 watt doors speakers in if they made them, with your factory head unit and all it would do is sound like crap cause your headunit wouldnt push them. wont blow any fuses with speakers, if that happens its due to a short or something in your wiring or your radio.

hope this helps

I have two 5 1/4's (3-way, full range) in the front doors. Two 6x9's (3-way, full range) in the rear hatch. One 10' sub in the rear passenger side pocket. All Rockford Fosgates speakers. And a 1400 watt 5 channel Pyle amp, under the rear seat. So that's 250w to the four corner speakers, And 400w to the sub. All looks like a factory install. And sounds like a concert hall. I'm very happy with it.
