Default Problem I have...

So i repaired the speedometer cable inside to the gearbox? or transfercase it spins when i turn it but when i am driving it, it is still not showing a speed i am not lost... i will post a pic of what i am talking about.....

the gear is fine and there are 2 notches by my thumb and my index is that where the stock went? if so what could it be i am stumped now......

so i cleaned it up and it is not working meaning next step is rebuilding the transfer case or get a new one... this does not surprise me at all tho...

are you sure its pushed all the way in?
Have you tried a new or different sensor?

so i thought about it and i decided that i am going to go over to the junkyard and just pick up another one i found the rebuild kit with all the stuff i need and it is 749 so... i am just going to pick one up from the junk yard

yes and the sensor is still good

just curious how you know its still good?
Did you try spinning it with a drill and see if it moves on the dash?

yes plus the spline inside of the transfer case feels like it is almost to the metal and almost smooth
