Default post your jeep pet peeves

let me start off...

my biggest jeep pet peeve is when i look on craigslist at an ad for a cherokee and it describes the engine size as a "4.0L Straight V6"

i went and looked at an xj once and we had the hood open staring directly at the engine telling me it had a v6. IDIOTS!!!!!!!!

I cannot stand when some one looks at my JEEP and says "nice truck!"
It's usually older women, but I've gotten it from a lot of other people.
IT'S NOT A TRUCK!!

The fact that anything inside the jeep that is related to plastic is broken, everything outside is dented or rusting on the bottom, the fact that people with jacked up trucks and 30" tires calls me stupid for not having 8" of lift even though I'm running 33's, the fact that my jeep gets more money to spend then I do, the fact that Chrysler thought bringing back the Cherokee name would make us want that vehicle, the fact that you see so many cherokees still running around because at one point someone actually knew how to make a vehicle and how to make it last, The fact that I would drop this peice of junk if it wasn't for the fact that it will continue going and will continue to amaze me in how well it performs

My biggest Jeep pet peeve? Those stickers that say "its a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand"

That and the Wrangler guys that don't recognize my XJ as a real Jeep just because its unibody and doesn't have a soft top...at least mine was built by AMC and not Chrysler.

Lol. I love it when I go up to parts counter and ask for parts for my Cherokee, he say grand or regular. I spent next minute scolding him, then I proceed to tell him I need a ZJ tie rod. ZJ fan clutch, ZJ brake rotors and pads. He look confused especially when my Cherokee is parked by the window. He keep telling me I m wrong.
