There are plenty of obstacles that can't be done open...they are worth every penny if you choose to take it to that level. But one can still have plenty of fun with open diffs. It does make some obstacles more fun

Even though this XJ is awesome with a rear coil conversion and claytons front and rear, I HATE THESE ****ING WHEELS!!!! There's a local bolt on shop that puts them on every JK in the world.

A real Low CoG pure offroad Jeep is fine. Deciding you want 32" H/Ts and taking clippers to the 100k 98 XJ that your mommy and daddy bought you because you don't want to save your McDonalds money up to buy a little lift and a decent set of tires is what pisses me off. Same with the trim pieces.

I'm thinking they must have got them for really cheap or free, that's the Rausch Creek trail guide XJ and it gets wheeled pretty hard I'm sure.

Not a big fan of "bling", I prefer my 85' Turbines.

I agree, no need to do a bad trim job on a clean XJ (though I do support it with some nice flares and a clean trim), but my 95 rusty XJ with 220k was asking to be hacked. And this is my first vehicle that I've funded entirely myself, so I feel I can do whatever I damn well please to it.

Who gives a ****? Front fenders are easily and cheaply replaced and the rear can be unfolded enough to bolt stock fender flares back on.

I think they're comparing a good trim job to a toddler with turrets and a sawzall approach.
