Eh I got better things to spend the jeep fund on, it hasn't had bumpstops in the rear for the last 20k miles, ain't worried about it.

On to mods I can't stand-
Huge stingers on the front bumper, it makes your jeep look like it has a boner.

Also cold air intakes are kind of lame too, they suck warm air anyway, and just make it easier for water to get in.

Once you spend money on nice shocks, tires that actually fit your rig and start wheeling it hard you will soon realize why bumpstops exist.

Come wheel out here. You won't make it.

I find it funny that people are knocking proven products that every capable rig out there utilizes.

I have no rear bump stops but im trimmed with 4" of lift 33s and high spring rate in the back. when i got to 35s I will have to make bump stops though. keep in mind the only reason i dont run them in rear is i have tested my setup and the jeep hangs the rear way before the rear tire rubs.

I also dislike modding dana 35s warned my freind not to put any money into his. he spent $800 on building it and broke it less than a week later.

sure, run a high spring rate and only do very slow trailriding, and you will likely be fine. put some speed into the mix, wider track width, longer shocks, bigger tires, and bumpstops are definately used to your advantage. Not to mention overcompressing springs lessens their lifespan.

To say they are pointless is just stupid.

Thats just your priorities and Id say the order is ok, but there just comes a time where you cannot go further without a locker. Looking at your location , I am assuming you wheel at Cliffs. There are tons of obstacles there where an open diff rig will not make it, no matter what line you take.
