Default popping noise

Anyone know what could be popping on my front suspension after a 3" lift. It pops when turning into parking spaces, maneuvering at slow speeds or going over a speed bump.

Tighten it down. Actually get someone to steer back and forth while you keep an eye on it and see if it's actually moving. Check everything else while you are at it.

To add to this thread without starting a new one. mine is doing the same thing. popping sound from the front end somewhere when i go over small bumps. when i go from park to fwd and from park to reverse. i am installing a lift soon with a new track bar. if that does not fix it. where should i go from there. i think that i have narrowed it down and eliminated the motor and tranny. it sounds like when ever the suspension gets a new type of load on it ( fwd or reverse ) it will pop once usually twice.

Someone posted the correct torque specs for all the suspension nuts and bolts. It was on one of those Death Wobble posts. Just search "death".
You have to torgue these to the right specs. Did you do that when you installed the lift? Or did someone else install it?
They recommend you retorque all nuts and bolts after driving on a new lift for a short period of time...

The shop who did the install torqued everything to spec. Then after 2 weeks they did it again. They found a lot of loose nuts and bolts. Every things good not except a loud popping in the rear hen going over med to large bumps

OK, your original post said it was coming from the front. Did the retorqing fix that?
Was some of the lift in the rear made up of those shackle lift things? I read where if they are straight ones they can bump into the body. I think you have to hit a pretty big bump or be flexing it pretty good though.
Maybe someone else has ideas.
You don't suppose another bolt has loosened up do you? Or have you had the rear sound the whole time.
The good thing is if you look closely you may be able to see something since the loud noise means there is a contact or binding point somewhere. Did you do AAl's or Leaf packs? That may be another area to look into. The rear sway bar was taken off wasn't it?

Yeah, I had the front and rear retorqued. The front is all quite now. The rear has been popping ever since the lift was installed. The lift is full leaf springs no lift shackles. I don't think there's another bolt loose. Install have the rear sway bar attached. I'm thinking maybe a bad bushing but everything is new so I don't know.
