Default A-Pillar Lights

I just ordered Detours A-pillar light bracket so while im waiting for it to arrive i have two questions:

1. Anyone who has this setup where did you run your wires?

2. What is a good pencil/driving beam light that's not going to break the bank? I was looking at either KC Daylighters or HELLA 500

I've always been a fan of KC's. I've always ran them on all my jeeps. The PIAAs look nice too but I've just never ran them personally. I'm not a big fan of the hellas. I know people that run them but I wasn't impressed. Can't really go wrong with kc.

I have my lights setup alittle different they are on the hood not the a-pillar.. But same difference. I would run them down the a-pillar and under the dash, then through the firewall.

Let us know what you think about the detours brackets after you install em. I'm thinking about adding some more candle power.

When you run your wires down from the lights in the a pillar I would just go under the dash. Where they are out of sight. If you look by your brake pedal there are rubber grommets in the fire wall that may or may not already have wires running through. Your best bet is to fish your wires through one of those holes that are already there.

Not always true. Led lights have a low draw and can be super bright. But I guess an led is a different ball park all together.

Not at all. You should have more than enough room to sneak the wires around without taking the dash all apart.
