I follow Davis on Youtube, they get TOP dollar for their XJ's...I mean they are VERY nice, but you'll never be able to resell anything you buy from them and come close to recovering any money. I guess that's not why people buy from them but they've done over 100 XJ's !
$14540 for this '98 2wd. Me and a buddy messaged him to troll a little bit and he is clueless of what he has. Says the PO did all that stuff to it and that's what he paid. Also said the exhaust was "too loud" for his wife.

This guy has bumped his head. lol Bushwacker fender flares - $1,500?! Where?! Would anyone like to buy mine? They're on sale today for $1,400.
And it also says it has a 4 1/2" lift too that cost $2000. I asked if it was a long arm lift and he he had no clue what that meant but it was lifted professionally.
Holy **** those are some crazy prices. These people thinking because they put their money in repairs that it should increase how much they sell them for!
Because they dropped a couple hundred for their throttle body spacer it's worth a thousand dollars over value.
However I do believe the ones that aren't ****ed with too much - crazy lifts - huge tires - bunch of personal mods - will go up in value a bit as the years drag on. They will definitely be harder to find as so many people make monstrosities out of their XJ's... Not to offend any of you fine people on this forum.
I actually found this on my windshield 3 weeks back. .. I'm actually somewhat offended by it. All I've been through in the last 4 years with my girl and they callously assume that they can just purchase it from me. Can't blame them from trying I suppose.
I didnt bother asking how much they were offering. Just told then she's not for sale.

I've had several people come up and offer to buy my rig. Some of them even came to my front door. One guy even quoted crazy money (more than 10k)....I told every one of them to go pound sand. Sorry, it's like a family member, LOL
I have way too much time, money and effort to let her go. It will be a dedicated trail rig, and beat to **** before I sell...sorry boys, she's mine, LMAO!!

A lot of peeps have very poor credit or are at a high risk of default. The only way they can obtain a vehicle is through less than ideal interest rates & repayment terms. They are probably seeking the extremely high selling price because that is the amount they owe.

It's a really nice looking XJ, good color, appears to be in excellent condition on the exterior and interior. Low miles for a 14 year old vehicle. Honestly, I don't think they're that far off the mark.
