Thinking of parting with my baby of five years. 2000 Sport, pearl blue with 120,000 miles. No rust on the rocker panels, only a little surface rust forming on passenger side bottom of door. What does everyone think a fair price is? During the time I've owned it I've replaced with parts from Crown, or Advance:

Leaf Springs, front springs, sway bar links, pads/rotors, drums/hardware, plugs/boots, radiator, upper/lower hoses, thermostat, water pump, power steering pump, power steering hose, battery, front wheel bearings, BFG A/T 30" tires. Sure there are some other things I've forgotten. Thinking of listing at at $5,000 knowing I won't get that.

Dirtykurty if your talking about the underside of the blue that is undercoating something these jeeps didn't get much of and need it badly.

 

and commonly used to hide bad spots for resale. a perfumed pig comes to mind.

 

Well that's onot my local Craigslist and we had a really bad hurricane with lots of flooding a few years back and that area was hit really badly, that thing could be rusted so badly. I looked at about 10 WJ and XJ's before I bought mine and 3 of them were beeline at the bottom and one of them you could definitely tell that it was completely rusted out.
