I'm well aware that plastidip is removable. General consensus is that if you're going to do a hood, roof, or entire car with the stuff, get a sprayer. Besides, figure roughly 6-7 dip cans at $6 a can to get the **** thick enough, and you're mighty close to the cost of the sticker (which I've seen cheaper on Amazon/Fleabay for $10-20 cheaper.)

If this were me personally, I'd either just get the vinyl, or rattle can it hammered gloss black.

Whatever route OP decides to take, it'll look good!

Or maybe a different color other than black.
I'm gonna stick with the black and red. Not sure about matte black since nothing else really is matte. I love matte colors tho.

That looks handy. I might be bad at sticking the vinyl on. Like I'd probably put it on crooked or it would have a bubble or two. :/

Use satin black. No reflection off the hood.

If you decide to use rattle can flat black/plasti dip on the hood, it WILL tiger stripe. With matte paint, large flat panels more or less require a gun.
None of the paint can paint I've done has tiger striped. And I did it in winter when it was probably mid 50's with the sun shining. The only thing it's really done was chipping. But that's probably because of doing it in winter
