I went with the 3.5" kit from DPG Offroad on the recomendation from Dirk (the price is the same whether you get a 3" or 3.5" kit). He said it would gaurantee no rubbing and no need to trim with the sidebiters and 31's since the offset is 3.75 but I think I could have gotten away with 3".

I gained around 3.5 in the front and just under 4 in the rear. If you want 30x9.5 then go with 2.5" and you should be good or 3 just to be safe but Dirk at DPG would give you a better idea.
As far as the ride goes you must first accept the fact that it is a jeep so it isn't going to ride like an Audi but compared to some other lifts it is by far the top of the line. Before I made my decision because I was a little hesitant spending that much $$$ on a lift I rode in a few different setups so I knew what I was getting was worth it. The ride is pretty smooth and is very responsive in the turns, very little body roll. I have no regrets going with the OME setup since this is my DD and it really doesn't go offroad, for now. it is a great setup fpr the road and from what I have read is very capable offroad as well.
