Ok Cherokee forum nation....I have question ..
As I will stand next week with my mechanic regarding the 4.5 zone lift on 99 xj......as we will surely stand there before it goes on the lift and do that thousand mile stare at the stock xj.....many questions ......SYE or not? Should I just go ahead and get one and rear driveshaft for next week...and if so..what's a good brand.....

Don't do it. Dive right in and put your lift on. Then realize after driving it you have a vibe somewhere. Come back here and ask the question again. Buy one anyways. Wait for shipping. Spend another day with your Jeep in the air. Or, you could just SEARCH and get one now. Your choice.

I agree with the others. Get one now and get your jeep on the road the first time. I run advanced adapters kit... Good kit- broke the yoke once in 5 Years and they sent me a new one free. Jb conversions is another good one. There are tons of threads on which brand- they already posted them so just read through them. I definitely think you should just go ahead and order one.

Good choice, you're going to need it anyways. If you don't put aside the cash to do it right from the start, you'll be driving around with a vibe in your butt regretting it until you do have enough money to set the SYE up. Like me, lol
