Default No Cruise Control or Horn

My 98 Cherokee 4.0 has the following problems:
No cruise control
No horn
Airbag Light on
Does this mean it needs a new clock spring?

Yep. Definitely sounds like a new clockspring is in order. Make sure you get the one for the cruise, because there is a different part for the non-cruise option.

Be careful when installing. They are easy to over-wind and break.

Good luck!

Default New Column

The junkyard wants to sell me the whole steering column so which is best-just replace the clock spring or the entire column?

Uh... you might as well do what the junk yard tells you because the clock spring is a $300 dealer-only part.

A little cheaper if you go online:

You will save a LOT of money if you get one without cruise control.

And it's not "Dealer Only" part.
