no bus 5
My 2001 Cherokee was working fine, when suddenly as I was driving I noticed all my dials are dead and the message no bus 5 where my kilometres are usually shown. Also my check engine light and airbag light are on. Any idea what the problem is? Can I still drive the Jeep without immediately fixing this problem?

Mine does it intermittently. Usually goes off on it's own, though. I heard greasing a connection behind the dash with dialectric grease helps keep it from happening. Haven't done it though, so couldn't tell you for sure.
