Default Newb with a question

I bought a new offroad bumper off ebay and cant get my damn rear stocker off. Anybody have a read through or some pics on how to do this. Its pretty lame i cant figure it out but anything to help will be greatly appreciated.

look up your bumper brackets in the manual. if you sit by your tires and look up and intowards your radiator, there are 3 bolts in a triangular pattern. 3 on each side. they can se a SOB to get off if its stock. they can rust on and they were probably air guned on

This is for the front bumper. He's looking for the rear bumper.

The rear bumper had two bolts on the bottom lip and two on the top under the trim piece. Remove the end caps first so if the bolts start to spin like mine did, you can look down the inside of the bumper to get to the bracket bolts. I bent the bumper up a little to get to the inner bolts. Each bracket has four 15mm bolts connecting them to the uni body.

mine was so rusted i had to cut it in half then take it off...
one thing that i do if you are not planning on keeping or selling the stock bumper, then when you open the rear hatch you will see a plastic trim that goes all the way on the bumper cut or rip that off then you can get to the 8 bolts... or take of the side end caps and you can get to them aswell.

Thanks guys ill hopefully get the stock off tomarrow and get the new one on right after.

No its glossy so technically its not murdered but close.
