worth $700??
he says its got 130k on it with the I6 and automatic... blew the transfer case out of it by running 33's on the back and 32's on the front... its got a 4.5in lift and he says its either a RE or fabtech... hes not sure... but says it has no blocks or spacers and thinks it has upper control arms... says its been sitting a year.5 and the windows been busted out the back ever since... i would just be buying for the front axle, grill if its good and lift parts... the rest i would part out... what yall think?

yeah, why not. id offer him like 500 first, see if he budges. does the motor run? if you think about it you could sell the motor and tranny as a package deal for like 500+ and make your money right back

hes asking $800 but said if someone showed up with $700 he would probly take it but nothing less... i also would use the transfercase linkage...

aahh... i think im going to take this deal on 4.5in lower control arms and all the linkage for the transfercase for $100 shipped instead... that means all i need left is a D30 and transfercase which i can get from my JY for like $100 each... and ill be set... so i can get what i need for like $300... no need to spend $700 now i guess... its in Atl if anyones interested PM me and ill send you his number... hes been getting alot of hits though...

well i also just checked my cell bill and screwed something up... $387.00... so im spent now... lol... i need to change my plan to unlimited to anyone for sure...

shoot... he sent me some more pics when he got home and the grill on it is fine... its also got gray upper and lower control arms so its probly the RE lift with full packs... so i may have to try and make something work... may go look at it tomorrow...

if you just need a few little parts out of it, i think you might have your work cut out a bit. drive, haul, store, strip, advertise the rest, get 50 million tire-kicker phone calls, people say they'll come and get it today, they don't show up, get mad, break the windshield, wife comes out screaming, get into an argument with the wife, drive off really fast, get a speeding ticket,..... wow. this XJ could be the end of life as you know it... lol.

but seriously, if you're not gonna fix it up, 700 is kinda too much money to have tied up on that.
although, you might be able to get a t-case out of jy, put it in there and sell it for about 1200-1500. if you think that might be worth your time.
