that was a joke.
but seriously, if you're not gonna fix it up, 700 is kinda too much money to have tied up on that.
although, you might be able to get a t-case out of jy, put it in there and sell it for about 1200-1500. if you think that might be worth your time.
transfer case, motor mounts (since he pulled the jack out from under it...), rear hatch... and everything for a tune up since its sat for 1.5 years... so now im back up to like $1000... not worth the $200 i might would make selling it as a whole... huntermac lives near me and wants the rear axle, wheels and tires, and rear lift and front springs already... so after that i wouldnt have but $400 in it... and i want the grill, front controls arms upper and lower, D30, trac bar, swaybar disconnects and shocks... then i could sell the motor and tranny for next to nothing $200 for both maybe if they pull it just to get it out of here... and scrap the rest for $100... i buy and part these things out alot... lol... parting out a MJ right now... i make my money back pretty easily... but im going to have to buy all the parts anyways so may as well let them pay themselves back off... if i get to see it in time... going this weekend if he still has it...Originally Posted by Tural
if you just need a few little parts out of it, i think you might have your work cut out a bit. drive, haul, store, strip, advertise the rest, get 50 million tire-kicker phone calls, people say they'll come and get it today, they don't show up, get mad, break the windshield, wife comes out screaming, get into an argument with the wife, drive off really fast, get a speeding ticket,..... wow. this XJ could be the end of life as you know it... lol.that was a joke.

yeah. that's kinda crappy. if nobody wants it - 800, if you bring cash - 700, wait you want it? then it's 800.
just for the principle, talk'em down to 600. lol. i wanna hear the end of this one. keep me posted.
