New "you know you drive an xj when"
You know you drive an XJ when you meet a new friend in auto tech class, mostly because he drives a sweet XJ. Then get yelled at by the instructor in the shop when you stand under the XJ on the lift talking about it for almost an hour.

When you add up what the lift, mods, wheels, tires, etc. are going to cost and it looks reasonable, but if you had to spend that much on any other vehicle you've owned you would have junked that p.o.s.!

You know you drive an Xj when you can't parallel park it since you lifted it because when you look out the rear window all you see is the roof of the car two cars behind you.

Lol that's my old setup. The moral of the story though is..... Lifted Xj + brand new Pontiac G6 = very upset insurance company =P. Funny part was.... I had no idea there was a car anywhere behind me.... I couldn't see it in any of my mirrors and would have never known it if I didn't hear the loud cracking sound of its' headlight and bumper. The dent my leaf spring left on the hood was priceless though. I've had two accidents in my life, both were on my birthday... This was one of them.
To stay on topic: You know you drive an Xj when you hit a pothole and wonder is the bang of your short arms being forced up into the unibody is as loud outside as it is inside your rig.
