New to the wheelin world
Just bought a 91 Cherokee with a rebuilt head and 183,000 miles. She's in very great condition but she's my first car and I need some advice on what to do first. Replace some ****? Lift her? Help me out

First make sure that she is mechanically sound ( not gonna blow up on the side o the road or trail) then its really up to you and you wallet. A mall crawler , rock crawler, trail demon it's all about you and your rig and what you want regardless of what others say

First thing I would do is a fluid change. Change the diff fluid, oil, trans fluid and the coolant. Replace the air filter and check the brakes. After that, make sure she runs smooth and you're pretty much set.

here's what I would do.
get up to date DMV wise
fix any over heating issues (this probably means replace the radiator)
flush the cooling system
install a transmission cooler
seafoam it then oil change and tune up
clean the engine and fix any and all leaks
then I'd cut the fenders
delete the rear sway bar
shackle and spacer kit and 31" mud tires
weld on some tow hooks
put on some rock sliders
install a lunchbox locker up front
enjoy
