I just picked up a 1979 Cherokee Chief (as in a few hours ago) and I already love it. Has the 360 in it and body looks immaculate. There is just a few things that I have questions about. And Im by no means new to the Jeep world. I also have a TJ that really needs a break from being my daily driver.

You can't look at this and tell me this isn't a badass Cherokee. Once I get it built up, it will be unstoppable.

I'm not saying your rig isn't cool, because it looks to be an awesome full size Jeep. I'm sure there are a lot of people on the forum that would love to own one just like it, but you may not find there to be much advice for your Jeep on this forum. You might have better luck on http://www.ifsja.org/index.html and http://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/ both are the full size jeeps,This forum is mostly the small xj cherokees.
