Default new and old. old still doin it for me

so “ole red” my 99 sport, been my daily since I was in highschool. bought her with 160k built it from stock, wheeled her hard, and drove her for 9 years. now she has 360k. Motor and drivetrain never been apart still runs strong. To rusty to to be worth fixing amongst other issues that I could make a list down the page of. So I bought a “new” xj. 140k 5” r.e in the rear, 3” budget short arms in the front and very clean. my plan was to swap my whole 5” front end with Long arms over to the new one. well tonight I effed up bad. I was in a hurry, needed to go home and let the dog out then go run a few arrands. Needed 4wd to get up my driveway (just got snow and freezing rain today). put it in neutral to get it out of 4wd (I have 242 tcase will be swapping my 231 in cuzz this one sucks). left it in neutral like an idiot and ran inside. Well she rolled down my backyard and nailed a maple tree. so now i will be swapping front clip and bumper from ole red into my new one. Long story short, even though she’s parked, ole red is still doin it for me. She is special, and moving past my negligence, I’m happy to keep her legacy going by keeping parts off her on my new Jeep

I have made it a habit to put the parking brake on always. I have gotten in the Jeep on multiple occasions and realized it was parked in neutral all night. Usually I put it in nuetral then apply the park brake, release the foot brake then put it in park. Sometimes I forget the last step. Lol
