New muffler?
Unfortunately when I made my account I was just mainly focusing on Cherokees but I do live an hour away from the bombing and it was horrible just seeing it all over the news
if your wanting it to sound better run the 40 seires with around 2ft of pipe behind it to even the tone out then put a header on it. my setup apn header 2.5" mid pipe dent removed flow master with a dump right after the rear axle. with all the mods I have my jeep shoots flames between shifts under heavy load.
I was just curious. My aunt ran the marathon for the first time the year of the bombings. Luckily, she finished well before the bombs went off
I had that for a while before I broke it off on a stump out trailing. I then went and put a high flow thunderbolt catalytic converter and a glasspack with duals out the back. Sounds frickin nasty.
Lol where I live every truck and tons of cars have aftermarket exhausts, fast or not...We like 'em. Maybe you guys just don't live where kids rode 4 wheelers through the woods to school haha

I don't mind a loud exhaust if it sounds good, but to me Flowmasters make the 4.0L sound like a giant lawnmower. I hate watching videos of these guys trying to climb hills but the audio sounds like somebody trying to aggressively mow a really overgrown lawn.
I have a Gibson stainless cat-back. It isn't that loud, but it has a low, menacing sound to it with no drone. A mechanic I use sometimes was disappointed that it wasn't louder when he first heard it. I cranked it up next to the high school practice field the other day, though, and a bunch of those football and ROTC kiddies turned around to look to see what it was. I already knew it sounded good inside the truck, but that's when I knew it had just the right presence outside the truck as well. And yet it isn't obnoxious.
To get the best sound, you also need the right header. A header with equal length tubes will give you a buzzier sound. An unequal length header will give it more of a rumble. I have Banks Torque Tubes on mine, and holy baby Jesus it sounds good. I was thinking of installing an electric cutout before the cat just to have the ability to enjoy the sound right out of the header. And maybe to scare the crap out of people in traffic who **** me off.

Thinking of going with this, especially for the price
