the dynomax catback exhaust is like $125 regularly but you can get it for $25 (After $75 MIR) now

Exhausts are a ***** to replace, just beware that nearly every bolt WILL break. My XJ is a daily driver too, but I'm still going to throw out the idea of a 3" lift and 31x10.50s on it. Stock cherokees are a little too station-wagoney for me. Or maybe just look into it once it's time to replace your tires. No harm no foul.

For a DD then, I'd say vent visors, inexpensive and they keep the rain out, plus you can crack your windows open a little whenever you park. They also look great, at least I think they do. Although exhaust is good to do too, just some other suggestions, I still have the stock exhaust.

First let me say that's a very nice XJ.
If I were you and it's going to be your daily driver and do little to no offroading then do things like a tune up, a nice wash and wax, and maybe paint some of the worn out and faded parts like trim, door handles and mirrors. just some touch up spay paint can go a VERY long way.
