Talking New Headers!

Finished puttin headers in today. There Rugged Ridge raw steal not the prettiest but function well I painted them black with VHT. I even got to test them out today. I was driving home from returning a movie & a younger guy in maybe a 2000 (trim was same color as paint) cherokee tried to pass me so I floored it & pulled away from him he had atleast 5 mph on me when he crossed the line. I was driving slow listening for noises before I saw him comin after he tailgated me & saw me smiling he seemed a little mad at 1st but he laughed it off. Runs great though very smooth soundin & faster throttle response a good investment.

raw steel just means unfinished I painted it to help prevent rust. On a bike might have been wrapped with something to help disapate heat less heat more power like ceramic coated headers not sure on how they resist weather though but stainless would better fit offroad use fights off corrosion/rust the best.

my neighbor swears by Rugged Ridge. if they manufacture it, he probably has it somewhere in his house if it is not on his YJ, lol.

Jet-hot coated, big difference. Powdercoat will not handle the heat.
