New guy looking for mod ideas
I'm new to the cherokee community just got a 96 xj 2 months ago for my first car is in awesome shape has roof rack, 8000lbs winch, front and rear locking differentials, 3.5 inch lift, recently added a snorkel to it, a cobra cb radio, power inverter in trunk and all around rough country shocks and steering stabilizer. I'm looking to add a custom front bumper and rear bumper, rear tire carrier, and ladder on the side to get to roof rack. Looking for more mods to do to it I know the sky is the limit with these things and I can only think of mainly cosmetic things I'll leave it up to you guys to give me more ideas

Mini skids help prevent smashed up LCA mounts like these in pics.

I would skip the ladder on the side,If sounds like something you'd get hung up on and maybe rip off the jeep.Stand on the back tire or get the thick rock sliders that stick out you can use as a step.Like said armor everything like t case skid plate gas tank skid plate rock sliders etc etc.

Extra off road lighting is good also if you run at night. Also an alt/battery/wiring upgrade is in order also with a winch and extras.
Like Andrew said forget the ladder hanging on the side just waiting to be torn off by a tree on the trails. Then plan on about $3-4k for bumpers/armor/sliders and misc.

Sliders with attached tube make for great steps for roofrack. In back, there are steps that will mount in hitch.

Those steps don't work if you have a swing out tire carrier unless you open them, kind of a PITA but just takes a little longer to use it.
Not that great if you don't watch behind you and hit a tree stump backing up, Doh!
