As you might have read earlier if you are keeping up with us here, this club is ALSO for those who can't afford to mod, but have a currently stock vehicle. As I want all the info on what they do to their CHerokees too, and don't think they should leave the club just for modding their Jeeps, they will just become 'Stock as a Rock Jeep Club' Alumni and will always be welcome in the club. Since we should have documentation of the transistion from stock to Mod, this is valuable info to that half of the members of our club who want to mod their STOCK Jeeps......eventually.

Tell ya what NJX732, if you finger tighten the bolts and put the doors back on temporarily, and take pics of it in one piece, THEN video (Preferred) or step by step pictures of how you took the doors off, how you dealt with the wiring, etc. and make us a mini tutorial about it, AND that was your only mod, you're in! Since that seems like an easily reversable mod, why not. We could all benefit on knowing how to and what to expect.

I wanted to create an interactive way for like minded individuals to get together. I don't need to know them for them to join. My goal to see how many sleepers are out there that are stock. I bet we will all be surprised to see the member count in a month, a year. I'll wager it will quite a number eventually. Fellow Stockers Unite!

The drama? Maybe some, but the club is gaining support and members who are finding this quite entertaining and engaging. I have to agree with Drew, this made my day, I'm enjoying it.

Again, you're under the mistaken assumption that a Jeep's off-roadiness is based on what you do to it, not with it
DOH!: You edited your post! My quote above is what it said, pre-edit
The truth is, there are places I can go in my stock-height XJ that my high-rise brethren cannot. My garage, for instance.

I feel like I may not qualify... I LOVE a basic almost stock looking Cherokee. However the only real "mod" I've done is added for lights. However I used the FACTORY switch out of an 89 and I put them in the factory spot on the from bumper.. But they're KC 57 series lights... (I thought they looked pretty

close to stock...much brighter too...) so am I in or out...? Haha

So I'm kinda confused.
The next big thing on my to-do list is replace my front coil springs and rear leaf springs. My leaf springs are sagging some and I want to replace them.
I am not wanting to jack it up in the air, but would like to upgrade to the OE Up Country coil and leaf springs if I can find them somewhere. The dealer wants waaaaay more than I want to pay for a set.
Will this exclude me from the group?

If you choose to lift your Jeep with an aftermarket lift, you will just 'Graduate' to Alumni. Again, you won't be asked to leave if you started out stock. All I ask, is that you document your Mod...or upgrade....or whatever., and post it for us to learn from.
