Alright, my buddy just got his dads old 1996 Zj and I'm helping him figure out what he wants, and what he needs. It's 2wd so nothing huge, he is not gonna be offroading much.
So far:
2" budget boost or 3" preferably under 150$
Would 31" tires would be good under that?
he wants crager soft 8s so what size would he need?
And a link to a cherry bomb glasspack that Would fit his jeep?
Im an xj guy and I know nothing about grands lol so any help is appreciated.

Here is a few pics of mine. It's stock with 30-9.50-15s on it. It had a Teraflex 2" spacer lift on it when I bought it, but I hated all of the noise it made and the death wobble that I incountered every now and then. There is one of before I painted the plastic and one after I painted the plastic with bedliner from Rustoleum.

If he wants it to look like the red ZJ just get the same tires and wheels, the red one looks like it is at stock height. If you want it to sit a little higher find some coil spring spacers, you can probably go 2" without having too many drive line issues.
