Well first of hello cherokee forum. Im picking up a dark blue 97 cherokee sport 4 door 4.0 5 speed on tuesday or thursday. Or atleast i plan to. Not new to jeeps by all means I have a yj back at home in NY with a 350 going in it but deffinetly new to cherokees. Obviously I've already been bitten by the jeep bug so ofcourse im already starting my new shopping list. But I was wondering if anyone could help me pick out a good lift. Not looking for anything over 3" I just want to get a set of 31's on there comfortably. Its going to be a daily driver and have the capability for a weekend warrior. I have to keep it good on the street because ill be doing some traveling being in the navy. Anyways I was checking out the skyjacker 3" lift with 3" lift coils add a leaf for the rear and hydro shocks. On the wranglerforum people swear that the Hydros are the softest riding shocks out there I was wondering if its the same for the cherokees. Sorry I went a bit off topic but thanks for the help guys.

I personally like BDS, its what I run. I can flex my front end enough to unseat my coils. And its fairly priced, as well.

I have the Rusty's 3" kit... great kit but it rides verrrry stiff. I'm sure they all do, but I have a hard time believing this would be one of the softer riding ones. If I were to do it again, I'd try the BDS kit with OME shocks.
